\nIn this context, the behavior of sustainable and innovative materials must be studied through reliable testing methods, validated by a robust approach with specific focus on life cycle assessment (LCA).
\nTo this end, leading experts in the field have been invited as lecturers for the 4th International SIIV Winter School 2024<\/strong> to promote and share up-to-date knowledge on the topic with the aim of fostering sustainability and digital modernization of the road network and its associated pavements.
\nWinter School 2024 will include two panel discussions.
\nIn the first, Road Infrastructure Management Entities<\/strong> will highlight the main management challenges; in the second, Executing Companies<\/strong> will discuss the main critical issues and opportunities arising from a green and digital approach to road management.
\nThe roundtables represent a unique opportunity to connect the young researchers participating in the school with their potential future employers to whom they should bring added value in terms of knowledge, innovation and enthusiasm.
